I do not have much to discuss in this blog. There was less of fun this week and more of work.. well, kind of work. Even after a week of laziness, I decided to shop little things for me. Doesn’t shopping cure everything!
The products that I bought are not anything new to the market or any of you. I bought these to cheer myself up from the boredom, also all of them are super affordable.
Lotus Herbals 3-in-1 Matte Look Daily Sunblock:
I have out been from home for almost everyday. The weather here is not pleasant either, sometimes it’s sunny sometimes it’s raining. Irrespective of that, this sunscreen has helped me a lot from the harshness of the sun, protected my skin and also kept it soft. The one that I bought this time is tinted and has fresh fragrance that does remind me of something but can’t put my finger on it.
Cost: Rs. 265.
Lakmé Eyeconic Kajal in Deep Black:
Everyone knows a black kajal/ eyeliner is a must have in every make up bag. I had the eyeliner from the same brand and have been using this since a long time. The eyeliner is not waterproof or smudge-proof even though it claims to be, but still does a good job.
Cost: Rs. 180.
Nivea Total Face Cleanup:
Have been using this product for a while now. The formula that works good as a face wash, face scrub and a face pack; this is my go-to product while travelling. Instead of carrying three different products, I can pack this alone.
Cost: Rs. 210.
I do not use a beauty blender for my make up as you see I do not put on heavy makeup neither do I apply each and every thing when I do my make up. So I bought myself a cheap pair of powder puff which are surprisingly good.
Cost: Rs. 50 for 2.
Babila Powder Brush:
When applying compact, we all use brush instead of the usual sponge that comes along with it. The bristles of this brush are a little hard as compared to others. This, instead of being wrong, somehow works well on my skin. I can blend the powder easily even when there is slight oil on my face or when I can’t help but sweat badly. Some other brushes don’t blend the powder evenly and so when I sweat I have powder patches all over my face.
Cost: Rs. 200.
Babila Eye Groomer Brush:
I wanted to buy this for a long time. I used to watch others use it and was putting it up on my wishlist but never bought it. Never felt the need to own this until now. I bought this brush mainly to apply oils to my brows and lashes. Lets hope I use this while applying mascara too.
Cost: Rs. 70.
Elle 18 Nail Pops in Shade 93 Silver Dust and Shade 109 Neelima Berry:
Elle 18 is one of the low price brand that offers quality products. Though I have lot of shades that refers to berry (shade 109) I wanted to try a little different glitter for the festive season. The shade silver dust is quite good and looks good with my skin tone.
Cost: Rs. 50 each.
Colorbar Luxe Matte Nail Lacquer in Shade Sweet Lilac:
I am in L.O.V.E with this colour. I usually don’t try light shades but I have been experimenting lately. Somehow for the first time, I did like this colour. It is lilac, it is pastel, it is matte! and of course looks super cool.
Cost: Rs. 325.
Elle 18 Color Pops Matte in Shade Grape Riot:
I have been watching the advertisements of this for a long time and I thought I have to give it a shot. Though I own a similar shade in Maybelline, I chose this W13 Grape Riot. Yes, You have guessed it right by now. I am in love with plum and mauves shades right now.
Cost: Rs. 100.
Lakmé Enrich Matte Lip Crayon in Shade Cinnamon Brown:
Like I cannot even begin to express my happiness when I found this product. Skeptical at first, this one turned out to be the perfect nude for my skin tone. Given comparison to the shade from Lakmé 9 to 5 Creaseless lipstick in shade Coffee Command, this is more of my natural skin tone. Also I got a dual sharpener for this for free.
Cost: Rs. 185.
That is all for this blog post guys! I hope you enjoyed reading.
